SMS Terms

This text message program is operated by Manix Entertainment, LLC, a wedding and event DJ service in the Capital Region of New York. You can reach us at bookings@manixentertainment.com or (518) 218-6583.

You join by giving us your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on one of our forms, or by texting us first. The box is never checked for you, and agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of booking us or of any purchase. The box reads:

Text me about my event. Manix Entertainment will send booking and planning updates, appointment and payment reminders, and occasional marketing and promotional messages about our DJ services. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

We record the date you consented and the exact wording that was on screen at the time.

Messages fall into three kinds:

• Booking and planning updates — acknowledging an inquiry, planning-deadline reminders, event-day logistics.
• Billing notices — a heads-up when a balance is coming due.
• Marketing and promotional messages — occasional follow-ups about our DJ services if you enquired and we have not heard back, and the occasional offer or announcement. These are the messages you can stop at any time with STOP, and agreeing to them is never a condition of booking us.

Message frequency varies with where you are in planning. Most people receive a handful of messages in total, not a recurring series on a fixed schedule.

Reply STOP — or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT — to any message. We stop immediately, and we honour it against your phone number whether or not that number is on a booking with us. You will get one confirmation message and nothing after it.

We do not charge for these messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan and carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with or sold to any third party for marketing purposes. Your number is shared with our messaging provider only so that these messages can be delivered. Our Privacy Policy covers everything else.

Carriers including AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS and others are supported. Carrier support can change and is not guaranteed.
